OBTAINIUM!

Obtainium is Freeside Lingo for "bits and bobs that are free to use as you see fit". Our electronics obtainium is generally a mixture of individual components, random microcontrollers, and any "good parts" that are at the best of times labeled, sorted, and ready to help any member with a project of their own so they don't have to wait for a parts order. We have give-and-take mindset with obtainium, use all you like, but give back where you can. If you needed a few green LEDs but had to order 50 to get any, and you used some resistors a while back, then toss some of those unwanted extra LEDs into obtainum so they can find a good home.

We periodically sort through and toss out the true junk. Sorting obtainium is a great buildout activity!
